Feeling the heat

a lil peak of vasity jacket for coming S/S collection

Feeling the heat this summer? The best way to stay cool this summer is to wear natural fabrics such as cotton, linen and silk. Unfortunately cool clothes in these fabrics can be pretty hard to come by. The good news is that for next summer, ISBIM have taken this into account and are providing you with a wide range of natural fabrics and styles. So as the weather heats up, you don’t have to.

she's feeling the summer lol.

In the mean time here is a list of our favourite things to do to make the most out of summer:

1.     Takapuna Beach: Nice beach if you are not into rough waves or surfing but just want to lie down and relax. Just watch out for people playing sports on the beach. Lots of nice cafes are right at youre fingertips, and why not hit up The Department Store why you are there?

2.     Piha Beach: For those who are into rough waves and surfing! Just a short drive from West Auckland. Dominated by the majestic Lion Rock, Piha is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There is also a private-ish water hole for skinny dipping if you are so inclined. Word of warning about Piha Beach, she’s rough out there! Be careful in the surf, Piha is not know as New Zealand’s roughest surf beach for nothing.

3.     Looking for something a little bit more metropolitan? New Market is always you’re best bet for shopping in Auckland. Hit up Method streetwear store, opposite 277, to pick up one of our heat-busting 100% cotton ISBIM t-shirts. And after that head to the Teed Street Larder to chill out with a freshly squeezed orange juice or a cup of coffee.

4.     Your own backyard.: Nothing says New Zealand Summer better than a BBQ with your pals in your backyard. Or preferably one of their back yards as to avoid cleanup duty. Get all your friends around, put on some good music, beer, wine, and believe me, these will be some mint summer memories.
